How to Order

Ordering is easy at IMTranscription.com.

Step 1)   Upload your file to IMT.  (Or contact us with the details.)

Step 2)  We'll contact you with a fair price for the project.  There are no
              hidden charges, and the total cost will be known upfront.

Step 3)  You agree to the price by sending us the first half of the payment
              by PayPal.  (You don't need a PayPal account to do this, just a
              credit or debit card.)

Step 4)  We complete the project and send you the full transcript as an
              email attachment (MS Word).

Step 5)  You check over the completed transcript to make sure it meets
              your standards and expectations.  If you are not satisfied, we
              will gladly fix anything that needs fixing.

Step 6)  When you are happy with the product, you PayPal us the remainder
              of the bill.

Although our default transcription style is Intelligent Verbatim, we will be happy to transcribe your audio using any style that you specify.  Intelligent Verbatim leaves out distracting speech patterns like um, uh, like, and you know which might be considered unnecessary clutter.

Strict Verbatim style is an exact representation of what was said on the audio that you provide.  Every um, uh, like, and you know are included on
the written transcript.  This style can be difficult to read.

Clean and Smooth style cleans up the transcript to let it read smoothly, without errors in grammar or slang.  It goes beyond Intelligent Verbatim which only eliminates unnecessary and distracting speech.

We can do any of these that you request at no extra charge.  Alternatively, you can specify your own unique style for us to follow, also at no extra charge.
