About IMT

IMTranscription.com is an American transcription company which was established April 7, 2010.  We transcribe, or convert, audio and video from our clients into a digital text transcript.  Our transcripts are produced in MS Word and returned to our clients as email attachments.

We strive to be 100% accurate with all of our transcripts, and to this end we use a "2-pass" system of transcription.  The first pass is by one of our transcriptionists who catches as much of the audio as possible in a written (digital) transcript.  The second pass is by a supervising proofreader who checks the entire written transcript while listening to the audio a second time.
